Bed bugs are actually small filthy looking
creatures with shiny tough outer surfaces. The edges of the oval shaped body
are tapered from both the ends. They are mostly found in hidden corners, in the
mattresses along the side walls, in the bed and the like. They make creepy
eerie sounds in the dark after you have slept and hunt for their victims. Their
primary and only mode of nutrition is blood.
They are the tiniest form of a roach. Even the color of their bodies
resemble with that of the roaches.
The
bed bugs have long feathery legs with appendages, longer and thinner than the
whole body. Around 3-4 pairs of legs are used for supporting the bulky looking
body of a bed bug. They have two antennae at their anterior region used for
sensing and hunting for the prey in the dark.
The body of the bed bugs is
divided into apartments separated by horizontal patterned lines apparently.
Initially the eggs are no bigger than a rice grain and before their first
feeding stage; their body is like a transparent waxed tiny object and then
changes its color and increases in size.
Bed bugs Perth are the most commonly found pests and
healthier habits of living must be pursued for its proper control.
